Application
This series of vent plug could equalize the pressure differentials of chemical containers which caused by temperature difference, altitude changes and releasing/consuming gases, in order to prevent container deformation and liquid leakage.
The vent plugs can be used in breathable cap products for chemicals packaging containers, and be suitable for High-concentration Hazardous Chemicals, Low-concentration Household Chemicals, Agricultural Chemicals and other Special Chemicals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the primary function of the Snap-In Vent Plug?
The Snap-In Vent Plug is designed to equalize pressure differentials in chemical containers. These pressure changes are typically caused by temperature variations, altitude shifts, and the releasing or consuming of gases. By equalizing pressure, the plug prevents container deformation and liquid leakage.
What types of chemicals is this vent plug compatible with?
It is suitable for a wide range of chemical packaging applications, including high-concentration hazardous chemicals, low-concentration household chemicals, agricultural chemicals (like liquid fertilizers), disinfectants, amino acids, and bleachers.
What are the material specifications of the plug and membrane?
The plug body is constructed from HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) in white. The membrane is made of a PTFE/PO non-woven material featuring both oleophobic and hydrophobic surface properties (Oleophobic Grade ≥7).
What are the environmental standard compliances for this product?
This vent plug meets ROHS requirements (tested under IEC 62321) and is completely PFOA & PFOS free (tested under US EPA 3550C & US EPA 8321B).
What is the storage life and condition for the Snap-In Vent Plug?
The product has a shelf life of two years from the date of receipt, provided it is stored in its original packaging in a controlled environment below 80°F (27°C) and with a relative humidity (RH) of 60% or less.
